incredible gas mileage

I just thought I'd share my new gas mileage record...

368 miles on a tank of 87 oct. Mix of around town and highway. Didn't really do anything special, wasn't terribly easy on the gas pedal either.

i got 380 once, i'm going on a trip in 2 weeks i'm pretty excited to see what it puts out. mines just a sohc 4.0 but its got the 4.10 gears, so far i get about 18-22 in the city/mixed driving.

368 is great for that 5 point oh, hell thats about what I've been averaging lately.

My personal best on my 5.0 was about 300 miles. And that was mostly highway at 70 MPH

I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with my truck, my average MPG in the summer is about 13 - 14. Anything more than that is almost impossible with the engine running.

My little 6 (the gas loving one) got 21.1 once. It was kinda nice.

All i normal see in down (37 stops in a 15.7 miles distance) is 15.5

Sucks that my X can get good mpg, but i can never use it.

so normaly 3/4 a tank gets me 225 miles.

I think I got 370 straight highway one time coming back from Panama. Wish I could get mileage like that all the time

you may be able to ride with BLEE.. he lives somewhere arond Baltimore.. so maybe you two can meet up at his place and you can ride with him.

Its really not that far. I've done the drive from Breezewood to Kevin's and its a fun trip! Go for it, gas isn't thaaat bad You don't want to ride with Ben though, you may not return

i've only been getting 400 k's (like 250 miles) on my 98 ohv. swiss cheesed the airbox, added k&n filter, gonna see if any differance. running on 31's also probably isnt helping

Another thing to keep in mind is that the US refineries are not making the reformulated gasoline due to the huricane. The EPA has granted a temporary repreve on it until the refineries can get cought up with production. The reformulated gasoline will burn cleaner but give you lower mileage.
