I want to replace 4 OEM GY Wrangler P235/75-15R tires. TireTrack says the Bridgestone Dueler REVO is "not recommended" for this truck. Wal-Mart sells GY Trackers. Any info on those tires?

Probaly the only reason the other tires are not recommended for the truck is because most tire manufactures are scared to sell them to you cuz of the roll over lawsuites..... i say go ahead and put what ever tire you want on there ...
for my 93 2WD from a Firestone store. I'm sure they would not sell them to me if the tire was not meant to go on an Explorer.
By the way, this set of tires was offered to me at a 70% discount because the Dueler H/L tires wore out at 30k miles. So, $265 with road hazard and everything.....for 4 tires!
Just bought some Dueler AT Revo 265/75R16's for my X. Told the guy I had to lift it to clear em, and that I was plannin' on going 2 inches higher after I got the tires on.. He said "cool... white letters in or out"
This is common with TireRack. Tell em they're for a Tacoma, 4Runner or Ranger and go on with life.
For whatever reason, a TireRack Performance Specialist now DOES recommend the Bridgestone Dueler Revo LT for my Explorer, and I will install 5 of them when I get to Texas this month.
