Inner drivers side wheel has rub marks

Ok I am ready to put new ball joints upper and lower new tie rods and sway bar end link bushings. I noticed the drivers side tire had a rub mark on the inside of the tire and while I was looking at the sway bar bushing replacement thread I noticed that his has the same markings...see pic.

Mine looks exactly like that. What is causing that?

Could you have curbed the inside of the tire on something?
