Instrument Cluster

On my instrument cluster when I turn the lights on for night driving only half of the rpm’s light up. From 1-4 there is no light. 5-6 and the RPMX1000 light up fine. Is this a faulty wire? Or a connection, gone bad?

More than likely a bulb problem.

There are several bulbs illimanting from behind. Once you get the cluster out, I'd replace them all.

i just replaced them all in my '95...then i had one go out in my limited...so i gotta take that apart now..lol

On my way home last night I hit a huge bump and the part that is out came back on but to a less amount of light. Its hard to explain but the part is lighting up only 50% so its kind of seeable but not totally. In this case is it not a bulb then?
