I installed a cone filter an adapter on my 93 xlt 2wd and had problems with idle. Engine starts an idles real low then dies. Finally got it to run, but then when you stomp the gas it spudders.Ease the gas an it revs up fine.Engine light comes on periodically now also.Any advice would be thank full

did you plug the little vac lines?

Yes i capped the two lines from the factory air box.Can you just cap each individual one or cap them together with a valve?

I don't know if this could be it, but if you removed the MAS or the plug to it, is it plugged back in all the way?

PLug both the vacuum lines.

YOu also have to RESET the computer!

Disconnect the - batt cable for 5 minutes, re-install and start it up. Take it for a 20 minute drive, be nice to it for the first 20 minutes, she need to re-learn all your new settings....

Thanks guys, it runs good now, but still have check engine every once in awile
