Yes the Pennzoil is one of the highest group oils, which reflects it's high price in most places.

Hmm, so Pennzoil makes sludge for regular oil but makes one of the higher quality synthetics.

Well Quaker State used to be junk back in the 70's, and things have changed. I had an engine in my first car which my Dad had run Quaker State in. It lasted 160k, but it was full of sludge when I took it apart.
