If your referring to me, ya sure, why not, its only half way across the country and I haven't been out to California for a while. Just send me the gas money and Ill buy the beer when I get there.![]()
Too many Bobs here! 90ranajo is also Bob, he's the Bob that offered to help,
but all are welcome.
Here's a pic showing how much cleaner it is, although it's still not clean.
Also, note in the red circle, you can see a stream of water coming out the leak in the gasket!
I poured some water into the radiator to see if I could comfirm the leak location. Yup, that's the spot! Engine's not running, that's just gravity shooting that stream out.
Also for Ted:
You can no longer call your Ranger "the Squirrel". It is now reserved for Bill's truck.
Mine was pretty damn crudded up too, but we needed to get it all back together the same day, so the only cleaning on it was the gasket surfaces. When you pulled the lower intake out how dirty was the underside of it?
...Spill it, what happened???...![]()

I was shocked to see how much buildup was in the ports. The ports in the heads were just as bad. Bob suggested I just run a can or two of Seafoam, rather than try to scrape it out.
