Did I forget to mention that?

:D

Picked them up in January on the way back from Truckhaven. $200/each, used, 95% tread.

Whats the matter, Tired of denting sheetmetal? :D

Very nice. I like the continuation from the front. Now how bout the latch?

thats a Friday afternoon from start to finish project for the sami isnt it???

It's actually several hours of work spread over a week or two.. I had bent the tubing a few weeks ago, and was working on getting other things done first (like, the front hubs/lockouts/spacers back together, new 4340 axles shafts, upgraded birfields).

The latch is the hard part - the stock latch location is up above where the tube touchs in the back. I'm headed to the hardware store tonight to look for a possible latch to use, otherwise I have to fab up something to use the zuk latches.

The other side will go together just as quick - if not quicker.

And yes, I like the idea of owning a tube bender. I get a whim and I can easily make it to see how it looks.

So thats what you'll be running the tank trap in! Sweet!

I figured as much! Nothing is ever as easy when its custom!! When I build mine I figure my best bet iss to start with some spare doors so I can steal the parts

Johnson Valley, in the Mojave Desert (near Barstow)

Do a goggle search on Johnson Valley OHV and read...

Nice, Tom! are you going to skin them?

Hadn't thought about doing that.

I did pick up a pair of gate latches, so I can play and see if I can get it to latch wiithout major rattling.
