Great comment to the article techiman posted a link to:

MAYBE… it’s because he drives a ####ing MERCEDES when no ones looking.
-
This **** should be common knowledge, he doesn’t drive a ####ing old man car, neither does his mom. A MERCEDES is the first thing he bought her with his money

Smarter than me talking heads said:
Treasury would accept GM stock, rather than cash, for repayment of about $10 billion that the government has already lent to GM.

Trust funds controlled by the United Auto Workers union would also hold a significant stake in the company. Between them, Treasury and the unions would own 89% of GM

Here we go, folks. Our tax dollars have been payed back in stock which gives the federally run Treasury and Unions control over a private/publically traded corporation. Hang on to your flags... Thank GOD Ford didn't take that money. Talk about the poison apple...

Sad that this will never be built...

Shouldnt have sold my trans am.. Gonna be worth a **** load someday now..

I heard that GM's 4 brands left now... Chevy, Buick, GMC, and Caddy do less volume then Toys 3 brands...Toy, Sci, and Lex

Not how long will it take Ford to get smart and get rid of Merc:rolleyes:

I had an 85 Trans Am, and a 90 Grand Am, and had constant problem with both vehicles. The foreign manufacturers are slowing taking over the market. GM already cut out Oldsmobile a few years ago, so it's not a surprise that other divisions will start to disappear over the next few years.

You're forgetting GM's Saturn, Hummer, Saab, Daewoo, Holden, Opel, Vauxhall, & Wuling brands. And to a smaller extent Suzuki, Isuzu, BMW AG, Toyota.

yeah, it's gonna be worth a ton of money, too bad you didn't stick it in the back yard next to your AMC Pacer.

Sad that this will never be built...

Was this going to be same spec as the new camaro?

i've always been a chevy owner, and if it were me, i would've shut down hummer and buick before i even touched pontiac. maybe someday they'll bring it back who knows

Hummer, Saturn, and Sabb are already going the fate of Pontiac. Daewoo and the other brands are not sold here in the US.

Commercials have been saying Saturn is still gonna be around? Did they sell it.. Last i heard they sold hummer? I dont understand why they don't sell the brands and use the money to pay ME back.

Ford sold Land Rover for major $$$$$$,,, Maybe this is why Ford is alive and GM is getting a swirly.

There are 9 Daewoo dealerships within 100 miles of San Diego. And the Holden Manaro was sold in the US as the Pontiac GTO and the G8. The Holden Ute was suppose to be the 2010 Pontiac G8 ST.
