Nice looking Ex there. I'm honestly stumped right now what else to do to mine. Because my dilema is I'm trying to avoid the Street scene look (Preserving as much of the look when my mother owned it as I can) while still giving it more "Pop"! or "Omph!"
Nice meeting you yesterday, Brad. From the short period we hooked up, I could tell your truck looked sweet. Too bad about the weather and the Calgary cop or we could have checked out each other's rides better! Hope you enjoy the Screamin Demons!
To the OP, what is your overall opinion of adding the Mac catback and intake? I am seriously considering purchasing these to improve performance and hopefully improve fuel economy a little. I checked MAC's website and on a forum they said these mods will give 12-14hp and 4% gain in fuel economy. That only equates to about a 1/2 mpg though. Just seeking out your thoughts. Thanks.
Celly, it was nice meeting you there as well. Wasn't a good truck meet day and that cop...... thought we were doing some drug deal or something. Thanks for the screamin deamon coil packs.
coonerboy, the mac intake and exhaust I highly recommend. not sure about mileage. I know more power = better mileage (when driven properly). The intake really woke up the motor and the exhaust sound is addicting. With that being said, I am driving around with my foot on the throttle just to hear the exhaust. The exhaust video really shows how well it sounds and for a bolt on system that you can do yourself and save money is always good in my books. Every little bit to improve the breathing of your motor will help in the mileage dept.
shmelmafinga, i did not do my own window tint. I know you can buy the pre-cut stuff but i don't want to experiment with that stuff. Plus I wanted the installer grade window tint that doesn't turn purple over time....
