Hey Reggie no prob man. My phone took a crap on me while i was in the field. DUUUUUUh. Dont ask. So i am waiting for my replacement to come in the mail. I will probably be giving you a call sometime this next week if the Sprint gods allow me to.
Hey Rocket, this project is really taking so long. Is this normal to install a supercharger or are you just having bad luck (with the chip and all)? With all this work it's gonna be sweet when you're all done.
Well some of it is normal and some is not. The whole chip matching the computer thing was just bad luck. But finding the parts and saving the money to buy them is a painsometimes. Let alone finding time after work to install it all. I have to save another $800 for my new torque convertor and stuff. So that will be another thing i will need to work on. But i will be done with the charger before the new convertor goes on. The new convertor will just put me back into my new powerband that the cam has created for me. Just a few runs of bad luck is all. If i would have had the parts in the beggining i would have had it installed a long long time ago. But the computer issue will be resolved soon. then that is the last hurdle to jump before moving on to less super important things. Though the new convertor is a big addition it is not required. but it will help my times and launch out ALOT so i need to get it as soon as i can afford.
I just wanted to clarify somthing for people reading thru this whole thread now. Although we are now somewhat involved with his chip, Apten was not the entity that the original rant of this thread was directed at. We are just now helping.
Good point Brian. Since i started this thread i will solidify what brian has said. The original chip programmer wasnt Apten. Actually truth be known Apten saved the day for me and for my dealer who was getting f***d by this guy as well. I was really impressed with their quick replies and helpful knowledge and tips when it came to working my issue out and getting me one of their chips. Thanks Brian. Now all i need to find out is if you can reflash my EEC for me for another smaller side project. Well anyways, be expecting a call from me today i suppose. lol. Talk to you later.
