got it home, rebuilt the front axle for like the 400th time, and put the flag hood back on

and I could not for the life of me get the 4wd module to work. Shift motor worked, switch worked, replaced the module 3 times, still couldn't get anything, so said piss on it, and replaced it with a manual case

Looking good Josh keep the pictures coming...
My first Ex was a green 91 EB... Not quite the rig you have there tho...lol...

Man, I am new to this site. I am a ford guy who has been crawling toyotas for the last two years. Picking up a wrecked exploder tomorrow. I think I have my yota sold, so I'm buying a set of one tons, chromoly shafts, 4.56 gears and detroits. I'm gonna start building it so I can be in a ford again! Love your explorer, gonna use it as my model!

thanks man!

I have some cool plans for the Sarge in the coming future. Gotta finish up my Ranger and the C10 first though.

some of you all who follow me on pirate have probably seen what happened in November when I went wheeling...

So now I have the cases back out, and am going to rebuild the e case and get it working again

Really liked the report . interesting pictures . !

anyone have drawings for the 4wd wiring? I am going back to the Electronic rear case. The E-Case is in extraordinary condition on the inside, and I have a lifetime warranty on the shift motors, so why not?

well right now the why not is because I still cannot get the damn thing to shift. If anyone has the drawing for a 91, I need to see from the dash switch to the module, the module to the motor. I have seen the microsoft paint pictures before, but not the actual drawings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I ordered the EVTM

If you plan on keeping the rig for a while, grab yourself a 1991 EVTM off of eBay. They're cheap and have beautiful diagrams of all the wiring.

I'd like to find one that already has one, and will scan me photos of the drawings :D

Edit:

Decided to stop being a cheap ass and bought one. I didn't know they were so cheap. 20 bucks for the EVTM and the Supplemental book too.

I'm glad I read through to this post, I was about to scan the pages out of my 1994 EVTM I got off ebay before I pulled out all the ABS wiring.
