Just bought a Beetle Convertible

Plain and simple, Germans cant make good batteries.......


VW's are awesome. They seem to be having a lot of problems with their window regulators and some of the electtrical stuff......I dont own one anymore but my buddy works in a VW service shop (Dealer).

I plan to buy another Golf someday, a GTI. The Golf is a little easier to work on yourself.........

No question they're great cars, they look good, built well feel heavy and high quality, they drive good and solid. Reliability problems similar to other german makes. However, after the way I've been treated by the VW dealers and VW corporate, I'll never buy another VW again, or an Audi.

Yup that's me! My lease expired and I turned it in with just over 20k miles and the second tranny slipping. oh well, it was a learning experience i guess, and besides, it's just a car right?
