i did some searching and couldnt find it, but i read some where on here that some people are mounting rear shocks after disconnecting the rear sway bar. One, has anyone seen or done this. Two, what are the pro's/con's of this mod. Anyone know if there is a thread on it? Thanks

hello.....

anyone ?

Not quite sure what you're asking. What do you mean by
some people are mounting rear shocks after disconnecting the rear sway bar
Do you mean using the swaybar mounting brackets on the axle to attach the rear shocks? If so, that's on trucks that have done an SOA on the rear. Downside is that the shock location is inboard a little too far, the angles aren't quite right, and the bracket's aren't exactly strong.

hmm

oh ok ill clarrify that infomation is good... but the pics i saw, it appears that after they took off the sway bar they mounted the shocks on the frame beams on the inside if thats any better.
