Me and mother went up and did some wheeling and went and saw the fall colors. It got a little spicy i went over a water crossing that too was a little to big and sank. I ended up hydrolocking the v6. And now need help help getting it back to laramie.

Pull it out
Pull plugs
Drain oil
Crank starter a few times or turn engine over by hand
Fresh oil, put plugs back in and fire it up??

That is spicy for sure

410 needs to put a 302 in it.

Josh, We are just waiting on an appointment with Jamie. All he has to tell us when and we will have it there.

Or he could sell us one of his V8 Sport Tracs.

If the timing works out, it will fit in my trailer. I get loads to Denver often. I'm asking a friend who had a family member that lived in Laramie if they could round up help with the recovery.

Well tow company wasn't able to get back there so were on our own trying to at least get to highway.

How far off the highway is it?

About most 3 to get back to the spot of where it's.

I'd get a winch and some cable to pull it out of the hole. Then you can work on it where it sits. Once you pull the plugs and clear the water out it'll move under it's own power.

I made it back there with my maverick so I'm thinking of clearing the one side and get her turned round so I can pull her out there. Or at least past the mud lake.

Is the Maverick 4 wheel drive?

The maverick is AWD. The coordinates of where it is :41.08328 - 106.13652 It is about 3 miles back.

That's a million miles from civilization right now. Does look like beautiful terrain, I've never been out there.

Maybe flag someone down with a full sized 4wd brodozer truck to pull it out to pavement for $50?

Did you take 410's advice and pull the plugs and see if you can get the engine unlocked? Might get you out to the road.

We were losing daylight last night as we were trying to do that. We we'll hopefully get it out Thursday, I'm just hoping this weather doesn't make things worse. We will pull plugs and drain oil when we get it back home or maybe at least to the highway.

Wish I was closer I would be happy to be a part of the recovery effort!!
Just need a good winch and snatch block some ropes and chains… once it on terrafirma get the engine running would be my plan

Get the water out of the combustion chambers and crankcase asap
