Larger tires and steering

Does running larger or wider tires effect steering at all? I've heard it makes the steering wheel feel funny, a little harder to turn.

Well, wider tires will have more resistance to being turned simply due to the fact that there's more rubber contacting the pavement. But, with power steering, it shouldn't feel too much different, I would think.

ps - I used to live in Red Oaks Mill (Pleasant Ridge Drive). Small world.

I didnt notice any difference in the steering with mine.
