I have found, thanks to these forums, that is is actually my weep hole that is leaking coolant but I have found mixed reviews on a solution for the problem.

do i just need to replace just the gasket on the water pump, or does the entire pump need to be replaced? and also would I be able to fix it or should i take it to my mechanic?

Thanks

If it's coming out the weep hole, the pump is shot. Time for a new one. A gasket problem would leak out the gasket, not the weep hole.

Water pumps can be changed in the driveway. A set of metric sockets will get you through it...go buy yourself a Haynes repair manual ($17) first and if you have any mechanical ability, you can do it yourself.

Ok thanks. Ive got a chiltons so i'll see what i can do.
Thanks again
