I am looking for such a seat with this function, which needs to be mint.
I never seen any car have it, other than some BMW and a 90 Explorer commercial.
I found one in a junk yard in PA, in poor condition, from a 97 Explorer XLT.
Decided not to buy it.
What's the name of that part of function? Booster?
I did open my own drivers' seat wire harness to fix the heated seats.
It turns out to be a bad reply somewhere. Solved by using power from power seats.
The whole harness is built kind of water proof, but the two connectors are not.
So you are really lucky that it still works. You may want to locate those connectors and disconnect, and clean them inside. Some of them have 12V constant, so disconnect battery.

Actually even though water did get to the electial on the seat controls, they came out OK and all function properly. Yes it is moterized and it is crazy the way they still function properly. I thought much more would me damaged, But FORD made me a beliver after my first FORD drove away from that expierence!!
