Let's see, what can I powdercoat today?

~50 sounds like a steal

Depending on how elaborate you want to go, people could charge you hundreds or thousands of dollars. If you setup a paypal shopping cart, it will make checkouts very simple and you don't have to worry about it.

On a side note, are you charging by size, or individual item, or hows that working. Im thinking of some ideas for my Acura

Yeah-that's kinda what I thought. I'm over a barrel on this one-

I really need to see the part before I can give an estimate. It's more of a surface area thing-
You wouldn't believe how many edges are on a hood hinge, for example. When I prep the surface, all areas are cleaned. So something like a brake drum with edge fins will be way more labor intensive than an intake manifold-I have to get 50 bux to do a drum, but for a single plane intake it could be as little as 40. Heck, some WHEELS I could do for 40 bux--
Why would you put more money into a brake drum than an intake? People do.

Thanks, When it's all done, I'm gonna have him do my intake tube parts Red too.

I'll trade the family for money Jon, that's what life is about. Congratulations on that family, take good care of them.

The $50 sounds reasonable if it gets you started on the right path. How much do wheels cost to ship in the wheel boxes?

For me it's wife, cat & myself:D

Wheels in the box would probably run about $15 ea.

Thanks Dan, that's what I'm figuring.

Oh shoot Mark-
you wanted Burns green with a black web-darnit-

I couldn't do the ring--sorry. There wasn't anywhere to put an edge, and it just kept looking bad to me-

It looks good just as it is.. . Either way is fine (green + black web or black + green web) as I'll leave it up to you since your the artist type person..

I'll PM a fedex # so you can get it to me on my dime..

I think I found some other things to powdercoat.. a skidplate (I want to fill in some gaps first), and I have my old motor sitting here.. I can get some brackets done and put them on my Lego looking motor..

Is it possible to powdercoat those newer intakes? The intake on our sohc v6 mustang is plastic.

~Mark
