Saw it. Think I'll keep mine...

Sorry, I was looking on my phone when I made that assumption and think I was a bit hasty. He's got it listed at $5k now. Someone should make a good offer on that!

That SAS trac looks pretty nice. Not too tall which is definitely nice. I might not be able to drop my body lift so that I can fit in a different transmission crossmember and the extra height is eh...

For 5k that's a good deal only thing is not sure if that's a 30 or a 44 and can't really tell on my phone.

He really had very little info on the whole thing. He talked more about how the stock axle was taken out than the solid axle was put in. Makes me wonder if it's all in working order. I really like the looks of it though. If only he was on here or MyST just out of curiosity.

Anybody know what gear oil goes in the front diff and how many quarts

Finally mounted the H1 double beadlocks to the Dana 44 I'll be using for my SAS to see the track width. I need to figure out a way to cover the tires (I plan on connecting steel tubes from the front bumper to the rock sliders then to the back bumper). This should held cover most of the tires. I've been thinking of getting 4" fiberglass fenders then adding the tubes but the trails around here are extremely rocky, filled with trees and aren't fiberglass friendly.

You can see how wide the track width will be in the first picture...

That looks like it is going to be a fun rig when it is finished. I can't imagine there will be anywhere it wont be able to go.

I just got Photoshop a few days ago and I have been working away trying to learn the program before class starts, Here is my first "real" truck edit. I plan to add more to this image tomorrow and I will repost it. Background is from a different pic, I can tell and I am trying to work on that but I am not sure it is very visible to someone who didn't create the image/s

Looks good! Half the fun of taking the pictures is editing them after! Just wish it wasn't so time consuming hahaha

Whats your major?? Im a CGT major and actually just finished a photoshop and illustrator class haha. Best advice I can give is lots of layers and YouTube tutorials. The more layers you use the cleaner the image will turn out and don't blast the pic with silly effects lol. I hate when someone ruins a high res pic with silly nostalgia effects.

Note:

Couldnt tell the background wasn't from the image. looks clean to me! Background alteration is like magic. Take the viewers eye off the trick. If you see a small flaw maybe add something to the other side of the image to take away from the flaw. Like a lens flare or something simple.

Thanks! I love editing the photos. I was having problems with the bottom right corner of that image but it was one of many practice edits. Scope, it seems like my whole life right now is youtube tutorials. There is so much info on there I can not believe it. I am going to Major in Photography. I have already completed almost 20 units of g.e. a few years ago but then a job opportunity came up so I stopped my schooling. Now I am going back and taking all the electives first (art, photography, business, multimedia) so I can get a certificate and then move on to the degree.

I have one fog light that dosent work I changed the bulb and it still isn't working anybody else have this problem? Is it a ground wire issue? Or is the hot wire messed up

Dumb question. how does a fella upload pics in here? I want to share my rig with all these awesome rigs in here.

There is a tutorial stickied in the new members sub forum.

As a side note:

July TotM voting is opened and im a candidate!!!! Vote for me to get an ST up as winner again!!

My doors were put back on (very sad day) to drive up to VA and get my truck inspected. Unlike SC, you need mirrors and things for safety. I felt like I was in a tank on my 500 mile drive only being able to see out of the windows.

Today I got my clearance lights installed. I made a little writeup if anyone wishes to do the same.
