ok so i'm not sure where to post this question but here goes..whats the biggest tire you can put on a 96 ex 4dr without putting a lift kit on it? I'm trying to sell it and get some kinda sport compact but if it doesn't sell in a few days i'm gonna do some stuff to it. Never owned one before so not sure.

is that with or without a lift?

If you put 31" tires on it you won't need to lift it but it will give your truck a little bit of a height.

31's might rub when turning with no lift. You would just need a torsion twist which would only cost an alignment.

I have my 31's on my 95 Explorer (2nd gen) and never experience tire rub with the tires like the 1st gen.
