I ran it like that for a short time, it is loud no doubt, does not sound bad at idle, but any higher and it starts to sound raspy and not as good, kind of like an airplane. I liked the look of it, girlfriend didn't care to have the exhaust right at her knees when getting in and out tho. I found that resonation in the cab is not that bad as long as it exits outside the the body, if it stays under the body then it resonates badly. The only way to do this would be to run it with out a muffler with a single pipe. Even with the single pipe, it looked good, atleast to me, but you WILL NOT pass any kind of inspection without a muffler. Oh you can do this yourself for about $25. Just cut the pipe right in front of the muffler, and I mean right at the muffler so you have room to clamp a 90 degree bend to. Then clamp another 90 degree bend to that, so that it runs towards the rear of the vehicle, then add a turndown to it. Or you can probably get some of that flex pipe and run that in the direction you need and clamp a turndown on the end of that. If you crawl under there, you will see what you will need to do it. Don't forget exhaust hangers too. The trick is getting past the frame and back up towards the body so it doesn't hang down too low. Like I said, I used 2 90 degree elbows, a turndown, hanger kit, and clamps.
