last night, noticed that both fogs (550s) didn't work. I had them wired to the parking lites for over a year and no problem.
I also have 500 driving lites, i noticed last night also that the fuse(on the relay 15a) for them was blown..hmm
I have now blown 3 consecutive fuses on the driving lite relay as soon as i switch to hi beams.
I have the fogs wired to the fog/R headlamp fuse and the 500s to the hi-beam fuse...works great ,lites on, fogs too, switch to hi, fogs go off, driving lites come on.
Q: will a bad relay cause this fuse blowing madness ?
Q: i can bypass the relay (like i have on the other truck) and what would you guys think ?
The reason i dont really like #2 is that it seems if Q1 is true then 'something' took out both realys at the same time..and i dont really feel like risking an electrical 'blow-up' of something else ??
These lights do not share any EOM splices except where I fed the switches to the inside cabin fuse box.
suggestion, answers, help ????
