I work at a repair shop, and ive driven alot of before and after's... We use Sea-Foam in a machine to cycle it throughe the motor, but heres a little trick to all of you who are using your PCV hose to do the app. after all is said and done, take a tooth brush and some sea foam and use it to clean out the bore of the throttle body, and butterfly, expecially where the butterfly seats, then wipe it down a bit and drive...
Ive done this to several cars and i can say i have felt big improvements in the way they run idle, and accelerate, this is worth the while.
With my truck, i took the throttle body off, only 4 8mm bolts, and cleaned it out that way and used a baster thing to squirt sea foam directly into the intake ports...
Try it out and let me know about your results...
