Look at what I've been up to...

ok, another question. on the actual wiring of the leds, to save room, and get more leds, why couldnt one wire it like this:

You can. I've done it more than once. And I found it doesn't effect the brightness also
 






i see... i mean, that way, you could get mor led's in one space, because your not competing with all the resistors, right? is there a drawback to doin it that way opposed to the conventional way?(one led per resistor)
 






I think you'd need a different resistor.
 






hmm, what resistor do you think i need? (by the way, i havent gotten them yet, im just planning ahead. i could always just experiment :rolleyes:
 






I used 470 ohm resistors. That was one per LED.
 






Hey husky, i have another question. the lights on the door panels. do they come on when you turn the map lights on? (turn the light switch counterclockwise)
 






Yes they do. Turning the knob all the way to the left replicates what happens when you open your doors.
 






cool, thanks man, all i got left to do is the door panels, and then ill start on the instrument cluster...
