Looking to get back into an Explorer...

Howdy,
I'm baaack...sort of. Looking at a '98 Limited. Anything in particular I should keep an eye out for? Rust in weird places, things that tend to fail etc? It has incredibly low mileage. Been awhile, so I thought I'd ask the experts!

What engine do those have?

Check the rocker panels for potential rust or rotting out. Rear shackles, running boards (if equipped), bumpers, etc. Anywhere road salt and moisture can hide.

Also check the condition of the ARC system, blend doors, CV's, universal joints. If it's a v6 make sure you listen for possible timing chain rattle.

What engine do those have?

Either the 4.0L SOHC V6 or the 5.0L V8
