lower control arm assembly

mechanic says part costs $250 and will charge $250 to install. Is this reasonable. What is the difference between Genuine Ford parts and Motorcraft parts. On the Ford parts web site, Motorcraft are more expensive.

Rockauto.com has motorcraft lower control arms for 111.00 right and 117 left, I would expect a repair shop markup, but not a 100% markup. tell them you know better.

250 labor is kinda high also, unless this is for both. If this is to replace both sides the price is in line.

If quote is for both sides it's a good price. Parts are about $225 before tax and shipping, and labor is booked at 3hrs.
