MAC Exhaust : New Side Exit!!

Alright I've had my MAC 3'' Catback exhaust for about 2 months now. Slowly, but surely, I began to love its sound (VERY loud and agressive) But I was never fond of the pipe coming out under the rear bumper. The 3'' tip made it look too ricey for my tastes. So today, I got it changed to a side exit! And I LOVE it!!! And the best part? ALL interior resonance and droaning is GONE!!!! Its amazing! Its still loud as hell on the outside but the droan is gone on the inside!! Best 40 bucks i've ever spent!!!!!!

looks good.. do you attribute the drone going away just cus you moved it to the side? i have too much drone on my magnaflow.. maybe you could take me for a ride in your x so i can compare..

did you gain any power with the exhaust?

It either had to be because of the new location or because the tip is different. I did notice more power with the exhaust, especially at higher RPM's which is good b/c the v8 didnt really have much kick at high RPM's.

Actually that is how the 1st Gen have their exhaust exits. It does kinda look nicer and neater. Good job, LiKuid.

i put my gibson on about a month ago and i love the performance and side exit look. pretty cool looking.

That looks 23x better! I had my Magnaflow exit there but it was tucked further up so you couldn't see it. I'm not really a fan of visible exhaust. But yours looks waaaay better.

Haha well as long as it look 23x better then before! I loved the way the side exit looked on my 1st gen, so im glad I could get it on my new one!

I agree with the side exit on a single pipe exhaust.
IMHO, any rear-exit single-pipe exhaust looks kinda ricey, but looks good with a dual exhaust
