Maintenance transmission

After read many posts about the X and their transmissions, what can be done for maintenance on them to prevent break down? I changed transmission fluid and filter on other cars and trucks. But on my 02 theirs no transmission fluid dipstick. Should I do anything, I have 22k on it so far. Thanks

A after market cooler and remote filter will help a lot.
I have a B&M cooler and a remote filter by Perma-Cool.
I got them from Summit Racing ( www.summitracing.com )

More than a few poeple here have switched over to synthetic tranny fluid.
