i have a 95 xlt it stutters bad when startd it throws a check engine light but no codes. we used a snap on scanner it keeps saying waitn for codes as the engine is chocking, we testd the resistance on the idle air control valve it was fine we noticed if you start it an unplug the mass air flow sensor the engine would run better so we check the voltage to the mass air it was good the we checkd the voltage of the actual sensor was .5 below specs of running proper but now we have compltly unpluggd the mass air an tryd starting it it ran fine for a bit now were back to the same symptons of stuttering an shuitting down an not starting for 20-45 mins so just curious if theres aything im over looking thanx !!
