Solved Missing while idling

Prefix for threads that contain problems that have been resolved, and there is an answer within the thread.
@JamesWoolery Welp! On to Plan B, once you get that scanner (or get to a parts store) and pull the codes, let us know what they are, and we'll move forward from there!

Next time please post the code the computer was storing so others who come along later with similar issues can learn.

Glad you got it sorted, a 60K sport trac in good shape is a super good find, should last to 260K with good maintenance no problem
 






This is a case by case basis, mine had a habit of missfiring at idle when the pcv hose was routed to the intake. Cleaned the pcv, new hoses and the maf, still wasn't right, no vacuum leaks. Plugged the intake tube hole for the pcv hose, put a elbow and breather filter on it coming off the valve cover, it's never idled smoother. Mine has 260k, wasn't cared for the best before I got it. I imagine with a low mile or better cared for engine, it's unnecessary.
