Ouch, sorry to hear that. The frames aren't terribly strong for side impacts, you might add a couple of strong cross bars like a convertible if it's straight.
I'm sure that not having a body bolted to the frame made it much weaker. I'd imagine just they weight of itself laying on it's side would be enough to tweak it. Add to that being hit by a car, and then landing on it's side, well I'm sure that'd put some bends in it, I'm sure. Sorry to hear this bad news!
ahhh....echo...... did'nt click when i heard that .......still say he needs to get his rent lowered because of the accident to makeup for the money lost and time for all this ....
