Moab 2003: October 24-26

410 Sorry you can't make it :( I was looking forward to meeting you. Well I know this is no comfort to you but at least you are moving in the right direction in you career. So maybe on the next Moab run you will be rich and not have to work....LOL

What is everyone doing on friday? Superstock going with big dogs on Fins n Things? At least tell me where to meet up with yall. I say everyone at City Market 8:30
friday morning so we can all meet each other before going out. Any thoughts?

Career = right direction (cant pass up a 53% raise!)

Moab = wrong direction, it used to be 6 hours, I bet its alot further from orange county!!!

410Fortune, sorry to hear you wont make it. I guess I'll just have to drink the beers I owe you by myself.

I should be in Moab on Wed or Thur so if anyone is getting there early also maybe we could do a run. Also is there a plan yet for a Fri. run?

Yup . . . almost 12 hrs.

And who the heck said only 10 days? Man, way to give a guy a heart attack.
I've yet to get a call saying my D44 was done. :( After that arrives I've still gotta switch tires to new rims, get a driveshaft made up, fix a steering problem, and test it all out.

Clint and Derrick, are you checking the itinerary thread? Friday has a schedule. For BigDawgs it will be Cliffhanger in the morning and either Moab Rim or Kane Creek in the afternoon - Moab Rim if possible.

I think the only thing being worked out at this point is figuring out what some want to do on Sunday.

Nine days to go! :bounce:

I am sure this has been brought up before, but I did not see it on the itinerary, but are there any plans for a potluck and/or whatever. I think I saw mention of dinner reservations somewhere, or someday, but I am not sure.

Don't worry Char, I am still going to bring the Mac salad regardless.

I will be driving right past the Moab exit this weekend.

Moving to Souther Cali this Sunday, boat in tow, drugged up cat in the back seat.

going back to cali, cali, cali...........

I used to live in Laguna Niguel, right off of Crown Valley Parkway...real nice area down there.
Too bad you aren't settled in yet or else you could come out to Los Coyotes with us this weekend. There's always the Truckhaven runs coming up though. :D

Anyone willing to help me rig me ebrake cable in Moab?

Positive Vibes, whats up with you e-brake cable?

OH! 410 I am truely sorry you have to move to SO CAL I wouldn't wish that on anyone :)

There wil be a group Dinner Saturday night at Fat City Smokehouse.

PositiveVibes, I'll be there mid-day Thursday. I'm staying at Cannyon Lands if you are interested in seeing what we can do about thet e-brake.

410, Sorry to hear that you can't make it. Good luck in California.

I predict that most of us will end up at the Moab Brewery on Thursday night, then the group dinner is Saturday. If we cook a potluck or camp meal it would probably have to be Friday night.

Derrick I haven't had an ebrake since I installed my 3" body lift. :p I guess maybe we need to team up and fix those, LOL

hvac man: I haven't figured out how to rig it? I have my old one and a new one from a '95.

Gerald sounds like a plan. If we cant rig the cables on mine they may fit on yours???

Dude just bring them I'm staying at the motel 6 I'll help you if you haven't got them fixed by then :) It won't keep you from wheeling :) ;)

hvac man: That would be *****in! I know it won't stop me from wheeling but it puts so much stress on the tranny. What day you checking in again.

I'll be there thursday nite around 8:00pm or so :)

Later,

Clint

Thanks for making me hungry Marty :)

Earlier this year when I was at the Grand Cherokee rally in Moab they held the dinner at the fat city and they served a briskit with potatoe salad, mac salad, baked beans, cole slaw and bread, and iced tea or water. The briskit is pretty darn good, I hope they serve it again ;)

Just a week away:D

I'm leaving Tuesday evening :bounce:

To all of us that are camping out at Canyonlands Campground, may I suggest that we try to get our sites all adjacent to each other in the same area?
