MOAB 2004: Vote on a date

NOTE: Do NOT post in this poll unless you are planning on actually attending this run!

The fall Moab 2003 event did not attract nearly as many participants as our normal spring events, so let's schedule it this year during the same timeframes as we have before 2003. We normally try to have it sometime after the Easter Jeep Safari and before Memorial Day. In 2002 we scheduled it after Memorial Day because several college students wanted to be able to attend, even though by then Moab can get very hot. All of the students except one backed out and when we showed up it was 103 degrees Let's attempt to schedule between the EJS and Memorial Day.

Moab will be crowded and rooms & campsties will be difficult or impossible to get on the following weekends within this timeframe:
The Easter Jeep Safari is April 3rd -11th.
A hot rod show is April 22nd - 25th.
Arts Festival and grand kickoff of the tourist season is Memorial Day weekend May 28th -31st.

That leaves the weekends listed in the poll. Vote for the weekend that will work best for you in this time frame and let's try to get our event planned.

There is no way Char can make Apr 16-18. Our vote is for May 21-23.

I voted "Anytime" since we all know how difficult it is for me to arrange time to go to Moab I am planning to at least have a 700R4 in my X by EJS (if things work out it will have a new engine also).

I'm new to the site and this will be my first event to attend. I'm up in SLC, UT so anytime works (and i voted as such) for me however i vote the earlier the better due to the heat!! Looking forward to meeting some of you guys i hope!

Voted for May 21-23, just so it gives a little more $$ recovery time between the arizona run and Moab run.

I put my vote in for the 21-23 of May I already have about 10 trips planned to moab for this spring but one more could not hurt I love living so close I am also up for what ever dates anyone wants to go, I live a short distance from Moab and just love wheeling there

Well I definitely can't go 14th - 16th due to I have to work that saturday. So please don't vote that date, cause I really wanna go.

As you all can see I've worked really hard here lately so I can be ready for this trip, I should have the roll cage, rino liner and paint job done completely by May.

I was hoping there'd be a run there in May.

I will be visiting Utah for a couple of weeks in May. I'll be there for the 21-23 weekend. I had planned to go camping in Moab sometime while I was there to see what the place I've heard so much about on this board is like. If you have the run that weekend, if anyone would mind having me and my girlfriend ride along with you for a day that would be great! Just let me know and I'll see if we can't set it up to be able to ride. It would be great to be able to meet you guys in person.
