I got my reservations squared away. We'll be staying at Canyonland CG arriving thursday 29th and leaving monday 2nd. Full hookups.

I''ll be available for a friday run. Will keep checking to see who also will be there. We can always meet at shopping center 9ish.

We're all wondering if your going to make it?

Everything is up in the air with Char and her medical problems. She was just referred to the Mayo Clinic for more tests. She has been missing a lot of work this school year and we can't tell from day to day how she will be feeling.

I have a feeling that she will be needing surgery to correct the problems she's been having and I have no idea when that will be. Damn insurance companies drag everything out for ever.

I haven't been participating on the site nearly as much as I would like. I still check my emails, PMs, and the moderator forum, but I haven't been checking threads much. Not that I'm not interested, I just have been swamped with extra work since Char is on the disabled list. What extra time I do have I've been spending working on the Dart to help keep my mind off of "other things". Here's the latest on that: http://www.explorerforum.com/dart_gallery_1/index_7.htm

I'm making reservations at Canyonlands in hopes of making it out there. I would hate to miss two years in a row. That would be really depressing

A proud father!!! If it wasn't for you Rick probably 90% or so of us wouldn't even know each other!and well probably would have more money and a Explorer that was still streetable, but THANK YOU! Hope Char is taken care of soon and very well! My prayers are with you both!

Back to MOAB this just sucks reading all these posts seeing all the plans and knowing that more than likely it is not happening this year but all have fun be safe lots of pics all that jazz!

You bet she is. She is the only one crazy enough to ride with me on the trails she makes a good spotter and is alot of fun. When the beer boys mooned her from the other truck coming back from the branding iron all she wanted to do was catch back up to them and return the favor

OMG was that ever funny My poor rental, LOL. I'm sorry I'm going to miss the shenanigans this year, guys... It's a struggle to get by as-is; I have to take apart what's left of Blackjack, plus the ongoing legal battle to get him back on his feet takes up a lot of time If I can get my settlement by fall I will definitely try to make it to a Colorado run later in the year, though!


Y'all have a good time and take a crapton of pictures, ok??? Rick, tell Char I said I hope she feels better!

Ok, I'm in for sure now my vacation finally got approved. I'll be superstock/modified. I'll have 265/75/16 cooper sst's by then, TT, shackles, and an aal. With a possible 4406 swap depending on $. I'll probably get there friday morning and will be camping. Anyone have room for a small tent and the mounty, or do I need to call and reserve another spot?

I think I have to back out of this trip. In June I am going to Taos with some mountain biking friends. In July or August I want my regular week and a half vacation in the Colorado Rockies, and then hopefully back in September for the Ouray Run. Gas is a bit steep for making 4 2000+mile trips in less than 4 months.
I will miss it big time, especially since I missed last year for the first time in 6 years. I am busy right now with Mountain bike racing and wouldn't have the truck lifted in time for Moab anyway. Hopefully I can afford to come to Ouray, and I dont need it lifted for that. Every body have fun and be safe.

I haven't really been following this thread that well but I see that I am listed as a maybe....Just so people can plan properly/and expecting, I will not be making it this year...I graduate high school two weekends before this run and I am running chinamans gulch with the locals (RMFTC)... I would love to make it but I just can't do it this time around, maybe next... Hope all have a great time!!!
