RockAuto doesn't list front Akebono pads for calipers that have larger bores for phenolic pistons. I'm using Wagner Severe Duty SX833B semi-metallic pads that I have no complaints with. Find the stopping power MUCH better than the Wagner QC833B ceramics I had before with no noticeable increase in brake dust. I guess going back to ceramic isn't an upgrade in terms of stopping power. Don't see the Motorcraft's you recommend for my ST. Are those for regular Explorers?
