Just wondering if anyone ever took the X to one and how did you do? Theres one around here close to Littlestown, MD. Id be interested in entering my truck if we could make it a group thing. It wont be till spring but i thought id get it going early as gatherings around here dont seem to work out real well. I can get more info as it gets closer but it will probably be like 15 bucks to enter and the classes go by tire size for street trucks.

Yeah i said id never do it but im looking for a interesting gathering. Ill just have to spend all night cleaning to get it back to normal. Oh and yeah let the harrassment begin im a pavement queen with this vehicle. LOL

If you are going into the mud, make sure you extent all breather lines. You will also need lockers. or else you are not going far. Otherwise goodluck? Where is Littlestown.

i have one of a BII doing it, let me see if I can figure out this DV stuff enough to get it on the net in the next few mins

i agree bout extending your hose lines..... but you dont need lockers.... sure it would be nice.... but i go throught LOTS of stuff in my X with jsut 31"s. I tihnk redrig could do pretty good. And not trying to discourage you but it will take longer than a day to wash it all out.... you will be having MUD EVERYWHERE for months to come....

PEACE

PS_dotn rmude with windows down unles you want to clean to the interior:D

we had one this year at our county fair. the mud was about 2ft deep and there was a kid with a brand new ranger that tried to go through it. it was a 5sp and he fried secong gear about halfway through, but made it out. i talked to him later and he was scared ****less cause it was his parents truck and they did not know he was doing this.

The one I went to there was a sammy that lost its rear driveshaft and made it about 2/3 of the way through with FWD. I'll try and get that one up when I get home.

Thanks for the encouragement... I used to mud alot in my f-150 and i know what you mean. I was figuring on getting most of the mud of easy while it was still wet. (the underneath) I guess maybe im still willing to give it a shot if i can get some others to go. Thanks for all the replies to this thread so far.

I haven't bee mudding since February. The other day when I was fixing my door hinges, I had a clumb fall out from somewhere underneath. I couldn't believe that there was still some under there.

I have mud in all sorts of places in my truck, It actually get's up underneath the carpet. When i pulled out the carpet to herculine the floor i was suprised to see mud had come up through the body plugs. Oh and lockers are a huge help in the mud and in just about every offroad scene. Open diffs are worthless, lockers make everything you can do with open diffs seem easy and let you tackle stuff you did'nt even think you could do.

When I wash my truck after mudding, I lay on the ground under the truck and spray it with the hose. I have even found mud that a garden hose would not not take off. I had to get an ice scraper to remove it.

That would get a little messy!

Why does his BII sound like a Honda:eek: What the guy that says "Yeah... Built Ford Tough" doesn't realize is that he was doing his Chevy impression, sitting there Like a Rock:D
