Lol.. That doesn't look that bad. I found out that my truck prefers minivans over sedans. It has hit two minivans and one sedan since the custom bumper was made for the rear. Needless to say, I'm glad I have it now cause I would have some serious damage on my hands if I didn't.

lol, its a little dent, boo-hoo, really trucks have dents, scratchs, and a ton of mud :D

how about......a custom rear bumper????

i have been wanting a roll pan forever..but as i just found out the rear bumper can save your ass somtimes. lol so i'm gonna pick one up from the junk yard thats the same color and in perfect cond. then i'll think about a roll pan this summer.

Poor guy, has to drive around in a "ghetto ass dented scratched truck". I backed my 94 into a 2001 Excursion and smashed out the lighted, scratched up the FORD emblem and bent the corner of the hatch (about a 4"x4" section) in about 2". I replaced the tailight with an eBay special and called it good. I wore it as a badge of honor. Those little (and yes they are little) scratches are not worth shelling out $500 to fix. Get over it.

My rear bumper cover is comming off and it has a dent in it from comming to fast around a tight trail and just tapping a tree....yours is nothing with enough mud you cant tell the difference.

those brackets on the rear bumpers are STOUT....you had to have put the cart into the curb and then floored it...and then put it back in drive, drove 10 yards away, then done a reverse peel out into the cart again ;)....or you hit something else. Im having a HARD time thinking that something as small as a shoping cart would bend a 3/8 thick piece of ribbed steel....

Eh let him fix it if he wants. I was the same way about my 05 f150...till i put the hole in the inner fenderwell LOL **HINT: MAKE SURE YOUR 9"s ARE TIED DOWN GOOD!**. I will say this though...you've built up a decent little wheeler...if you use it as you've built it you WILL get scratches. Hell i'm expecting to roll mine eventually......well actually looking forward to the day LOL.

no 3rd brake light is illegal btw...but to each his own, if you take that much pride in your truck so be it. But i do think you are over-reacting a bit about it, the scratches on the rear bumper dont look to be too bad, they can probably just be sanded and painted back over. The hatch is a different story, but I dont think its 500$ worth of damage.

Hahaha, he just called every one of our trucks ghetto ass trucks.

lmao...nevermind why do i even try. you guys are out to get me. i seem to think thats chnaged somtimes. anyway thanks for rubbing salt in the open wound.

I am not saying that he shouldn't get his truck fixed if he wants to. What I am saying is that he sounds like a stuck up jerk right now with his attitude about not even wanting to drive it.

Oh and btw, if it had happened to a street truck I really don't give a damn what they do with it. The problem does not lie in you driving a street truck, offroader, stocker or whatever. The problem is your attitude about it being a "ghetto ass" truck now. My 96 has scratches in it does that make mine a POS? What I am trying to say is chill out and not freak out over a few small scratches and say the whole damn truck is fubared.
