need HELP...No windshield wipers, no 4 wheel drive, and windows???? sometimes works

What would cause windshield wipers, 4 wheel drive and windows not work most of the time but they all come back on sometimes... please Help

:scratch:hmm I looked it up, try checking the "battery saver relay" fuse, number 8 (30 amps). Its in the power distribution box under the hood. Look at the diagram in your owners manual, page 154.
 






Yeah, it's gotta be the relay. Actually, I think there's a fuse that controls all 3 of those.
 






I looked through my manual (also 97) and I didn't see one for all 3, though I might have missed it. Although there is a fuse (28), for the GEM itself so that could be it?
 






Pull the steering column covers and push in the the plugs on your turn signal (MFS - multi function switch). know for sure the wiring for the wipers and headlights both flow through the MFS, would not suprise me if the 4x4 did as well. That switch is known for having wires somewhat tight and pull out a little when the steering is tilted. Switch itself could be faulty as well.
