need some opinions

i have the 97 sohc xlt. I found a nice mark twain boat for really cheap. I have a class 3 hitch and i believe my explorer has a tranny cooler. I think the boat is between 16-18ft long with a 4cyl inboard engine. Should i be ok to tow it home traveling at 55mph.The trip back home is like 3.5hrs.

Check your owner's manual for a MAX trailer weight rating.
Ask the seller how much the boat/trailer weighs. Add the weight of any passengers and cargo you intend to have in the vehicle when you tow the boat.

If the total weight is less than your MAX weight rating, then you're good to go!
