Need Suggestions...

Well, my X is coming together slowly, and im to the point where im improving the apperance. Its a 93 sport and its got the black trim on the bottom of the body. It is all scratched up and looks like crap. I want to know how to go about repainting it, bc i dont want to replace it. I was gunna tape it up and juz spaypaint it back to the original black. Would tht work or is there a better way? thx

I painted mine, it will look ok. I go wheeling though, so I didn't care much about perfection. I also replaced my rocker panels.

Yeah, just sand em and hit them with some bumper paint, thats what I did, looked great. If you want more durability you can go with some rhino liner, or similar product.

I spray painted mine ultra flat black. It's an Eddie Bauer so the grill and light bezels and bumpers were chrome and the side of the truck was tan. I just taped it up and went to town.

Like cculter, obviously I wheel it, so it's an easy fix when I get home if it get's scratched.
