the install went ok. it didn't come with any instalation instructions so it took a little while to figure out how the mouting brakets went on the frame. they only use little 7/16" bolts to attatch the guard to the mounting brakets so i welded it to stiffin it up. other than that stuff it went well and took a couple hours.

 That grill guard definitely improved the rugged look of your Explorer. Btw are the lights additional driving lights or off-road/high beam use only?

i think that Red beamer is going to leak fluids on that poor New Mazda! Guard Looks Good tho.

is it a tad wide? iv been wantin one so bad.. but they're expensive... how heavy is it?

i got the guard for a steal on ebay for $50 and $45 shipping new in the box. the lights are for high beam use only they're 100w each. haha yes the bimmer did leak oil on the hood of the new mazda actually. it does look a little wide in the pic but it fits very well and the thing is heavy probly weighs 50 lbs. glad to see everyone likes it i know i do.

$50 !?!?! Omg!!! I WANT ONE!..

Curious, would getting into a mild collision with a brush guard, does it do damage to the frame?

i think getting into a mild collision would just bend the mounting brakets. if you were in a crash large enough to bend the frame then you'll probly have bigger things to worry about like buying a new truck.

for sure, was just curious though

That's good to hear I guess. I wanted to get a set of those lights from HF my self. My friend has them and the look nice (They do on yours too). I'm waiting for money to buy the steal to build the custom mount. It's from a 78 Bronco. It was free. So...I took it.

looks bueno. i dig it.

this was the first time i've seen a deal like that on ebay. all you got to do is look at the sellers feedback and make sure it's good. i've bought and sold over 100 things on ebay and never had a problem.
