new ex. built but on HOLD in Chicago.

Ordered our ExSp last week of June, built first week August.

Something is holding these cars, they're not waiting to be shipped.
Listed as auto warehousing
On hold in Chicago for a couple weeks, dealer dropped ball completely.

Few ExSp available in 250 mi. here in TX

Found and bought one close enough from another dealer today, need the truck, not stories.

As mentioned in this thread, the hold on Platinum models is/was due to a material issue with the seat covers. From what I read yesterday, a member mentioned that the 'Hold' has been removed. Another mentioned it was because of the Class III tow package. Nothing that your dealer could have done about it.

Hi Peter
It is a Sport, options were ACC and sunroof delete.
Platinums are trickling into tx but I just got last Sport available in area. Huge metro, so something is up. Dealers don't seem to know either, reps didn't call them back. Zero paperwork on issue. I'm a euro car guy, so I've seen stuff like port holds, but this is weird.
Got a car to haul the dogs and the cars to COTA though :D:thumbsup:
