Hi Everyone,

Still a newbie but learning a lot. I recently bought my 2017 2.3 Ecoboost AWD and have had the following done:

Change Transmission
Change Differential
PTU Serviced
Full Fuel System Cleaning
Tested Coolant -Passed
Tested Brake Fluid -Passed
Changed oil and use full synthetic

It has been running great. I noticed that sometimes if I really really give it gas from a stop I hear a rattle for just a bit but don’t feel anything. She shifts perfect and behaves normal. Under normal load and driving conditions it does not make this sound. She drives perfectly fine but wanted to ask the pros any ideas what this might be?

What method did you use to change the diff fluid? Mine has no drain so at this point, it is untouched.

Wish I could help but a vague rattle could be just about anything, like a can of Easy Cheese left under the seat that rolls backwards when accelerating. ;)

I'd put it on jack stands and poke/prod/pry on everything, assuming it seems to be coming from under the vehicle rather than engine bay or elsewhere.
