Definately love the thornbirds, Gives your explorer a REALLY mean look, wish I had a darker color truck like yours, darker colors tend to make it look alot "meaner". Gotta represent for Interco.
They stick out alot because they are 13" wide and the rims are 15x10 with 3.75" backspacing. They hang out about 3" in the rear and about 4-5" in the front. But they fit perfectly and do not rub at all with the kick panel molding gone. Most people go with a 15x8 rim and 11 inch wide tire, but I wanted to be different and it worked out great.
Yes I can get off with one hand except for the place where it slipps on over the corner of the fender and the corner lens. It takes a little of finese but other than that it is quite easy. Explorerexpress.com sales a good one made by Colgan Customs. Fits nicely.
96xplorer4oh - They are 35 X 12.5 X 15 thornbirds. I just got my truck back for the shop with the front suspension redone, I will try to post pics as soon as possible.
