noob first time coming to trabuco

anyone have a link or list of things I should bring with me? I'm going to pep boys right now to pick up a tow strap and possibly some hooks.

Dont have a CB or a flag, sitting stock with full size spare on Goodyear wrangler st/a. Only coms I have is a "Peltor" two way headset approx. 2mile range.

I see a cb at RS, it appears that I have some GMSR device/cb. If you pick up a hand held cb, check that it's usable... (I carry a batt jumper just in case, anyone can use it if we have a batt problem)

Well funds are kinda low for the moment so I doubt I can get a CB, probably within the next couple of months though. Just need to start working some serious overtime so I can lift and stiffin my ex.

we'll need to cancel the GMSR cb, Daniel just pointed out the penalties sticky for using that thing if the gov't decides to pursue - I didn't know. I just now picked up a regular hand held... and I do have the car cb, but it would need the red fuseable wire w/fuse, and a mag mount. I can bring it if anyone can hook it up for Askingxforxit...

just realized my insurance is expired. I cant risk something happening to my dd right now. Once I renew my policy i'll be on the next trip to trabuco for sure. Sorry guys I was really looking forward to seeing how my x does off road. Thanks for the help and all, maybe next time.

gotta help the wife at home too. shes 8 months prego and not feeling good, i'm sure someone knows how it is.

Just got off work. Got my new antennae earlier so now I have cb again. Tbars thanks for towing me out. Kelly almost had a heart attack going backwards up the hill. Before the next trip I'll make sure I have someone weld me on some recovery points. I'll see you dudes in the am.

Thanks It was a blast seeing what you guys actually do out there... You all know how to live! It was more fun meeting everybody and seeing them wheelin' - I forgot I was there... It was like "Wow!" "WTF??" "How can they do that?" That was great! This is the first time I've ever been near o/r, and it was great!

No kidding, it would be nice to see you all at TDS... this was too much fun!

Part One...trabuco/holy jim trail
...first let me say it was really great to finally meet up with donner......i think i can honestly say after this mornings trip he has been bitten by the bug and we should see him on the trails a little bit more now.....and might i add, he is definately not as serious as he sounds on the board and he is a fun guy in person...and he actually had both rear tires off the ground at the same time......
