About a month ago I bought a new pan for my C5 but it was originally for a C4. The new pan doesnt have that hump needed to clear the stock filter anymore and I can't decide the best solution for it.
1) I installed a remote filter when I did the pan so I have thought about not running the stock filter at all but I'm concerend about any ill effects that may have - especially in how well it picks up the fluid
2) Make another attempt at cutting down the stock filter in hopes that I can make it clear. I cut down the first filter and didn't have much luck so I'm doubtfull of this option.
3) Install a c4 valve body and run the filter they sent with the pan. I'm hesitant of getting into the valve body and screwing something up though.
Any advice?
