newbie question

This has most likely been answered on this site many times. However I could not find anything terribly useful. So... I have a 4WD 93 Explorer with 200,000 plus miles. I am thinking about a 5.0 kit and replacing or rebuilding all of the drive train. Does anyone know of a certain year and vehicle for the 5.0 that is best to use? What about a transmission? Axles?

Any help would be appreciated..
