noise coming from ?

i have this noise coming from the driver side of my 98 so i took it to midas they told me it was not the manifold it was something else mabee the smog equipment and they couldnt find it with the radio off i can hear the noise inside the cab when i accelerate i hear it it dose sound like a manifold is leaking any advice! thanks chris

Yes
It is common on v-8 to have a cracked exhaust manifold.
The egr tube likely needs replaced also.
I must recommend Torquemonster headers at this point.
You will gain performance and fuel efficiency with them.
The initial cost is not much higher than factory replacements ( which will likely crack again ), and they will pay for themselves in return.

IMO the leak does need fixing. It will cause EGR issues.

like i said the manifold is fine thats what midas told me anyway
