I need help ! I have this noise in the front of my X that jingles everytime you hit a bump or anything to jolt the front enough. Its not the shock bolts, I just put new shocks on. Anyone with the same problem? Anyone with and suggestions? Really need to get it fixed ! Anyone know if it could possibly be the universal joint for the front 4x4 ?

Thanks For All of Your Help,

define "jingles"

my def of "jingles" would be a tin-like sound or a noise similar to that if something metallic was hitting an exhaust pipe.

chances are your radius arm bushings are bad. only thing is i would not describe that noise as a "jingle"

Sorry about "Jingles" It sounds sort of like two pieces of hollow metal hitting but Im not sure. Do the radius arm bushing go bad easily I go four wheeling ever once in a while time permitting would that cause them to wear out?

Thanks

just normal wear from driving the vehicle will cause them to wear. plus the heat from the catalytic converter puts and added stress on the right radius arm bushing.

for me, i heard more of a solid "thud" when my radius arm bushings were bad.
